In the early part of this millennium it became obvious there was a need for a Mobility Scooter Loan Service within the North Dorset area. It was recognised that the disabled communities were possibly the least able to afford the purchase of Electric Mobility Scooters. The scheme has been operational since 2001, and now offers equipment, scooters, power chairs and wheelchairs, for low cost hire.
Membership
Clients are asked and their friends or family are invited to join the Disability Action Group for a small annual fee to receive information and details of social and fund-raising activities.
